Everyone was going for a hike with Krissy and Wade while they were in town from school. They came over to borrow my hiking back pack and ended up steeling Braily and Kash too! Kids had a blast and yes, Kash hiked the entire way in those boots!! 3 miles!

Christmas Morning
Santa came and left us lots of presents! Both kids got bows like they were asking for and Rowdy got a bouncer! Lots of fun things for the kids to play with. Braily left Santa her ginger bread man she made and some milk. Santa drank the milk but didn't eat the cookie because he said it was to perfect!

Braily's Baptism Day
Braily's baptism day and it was amazing! I am so grateful for Braily and the example she has set for her brothers and sister. I am grateful for her testimony of the gospel and her desire to do good. She is such a blessing to our family. Braily loves to do things as a family. She will plan games and activities all the time for us. "As a family" is at the end of all her activities she has planned. We must do them " as a family"! Love this girl more than I can say!
Today was such a good day. Im not sure I have seen a baptism with so many people. She had all my family, Shane's and her Dads family. It was so good to see David baptize her. When me and David got divorced this day was a huge concern for me. I prayed constantly about this day before we got divorced and I had an overwhelming feeling that everything would be ok. Today could not have gone any more perfect. Braily had so much support and her dad was able to baptize her. The spirit was so strong as I watched David perform the baptism. It's amazing when you get to see a direct answer to a prayer and conformation that everything will be ok. I am so grateful for prayer and the answers that you are able to receive from it. I am extremely grateful for Braily and her choice to be baptized.

Braily's 8th Birthday Party
Braily finally got her friend birthday party! She decided on a rock star theme and invited all her friends from school as well as cousins. 17 girls in all. They had so much fun! I spent my morning cutting out cardboard guitars (way more work than I anticipated). The kids painted their guitars, ate pizza, had a dance party and played outside. It was a successful day!

Skin Problems
Rowdy has been having the worst skin problems lately. We have not been able to figure it out. While up at the cabin we realized that he can't wear anything other than cotton. All of his pajamas were polyester/cotton. Poor boy just stays up itching all night. We have to bath him and he usually feels better after that. Looks like we will have to do all cotton clothing from now on!

Shane's Elk Hunt
Shane had his first elk hunt this weekend up by Strawberry. Fun Birthday weekend for him. Wish I had a picture of an elk to post.....But we sure had lot's of fun playing at the cabin! Next time babe! Grandma and Grandpa Trader and Brinkerhoff were up there with Selina, Max and Sam. Uncle Ryan and Uncle Danny came to help with the hunt as well. Grandma Trader made her AMAZING Cherry Cheese bread and we just hung out and played. Grandpa Brink pulled out his Rhino and pulled us around on the sled. That was a blast. Shane started a snow ball fight and decided to stuff one right down my pants in the middle of a picture. Kash is such a boy and wants nothing to do with girly stuff. The only jacket that was his size was luckily blue, but what he didn't know was it had flowers on the back. Ha! What he doesn't know won't hurt him! Braily had her birthday too but we are doing a big party next weekend for her!

Johnny Appleseed
Braily's class did the play of Johnny Appleseed. She practiced her part with an accent and finally was brave enough to do it in class. Her teacher pointed it out to the class so Braily was so proud of herself! She did such a good job.

Kash and His Hiding Spot
There has been an on-going thing in Kash's life and it is time I document it. He likes to be sneaky and take things and hide them in his many different hiding spots. They have included cabinets, his wallet, under his mattress and behind his book shelf. I finally found a small cabinet for him to "hide" things in. We have found many things in there like; anything of Braily's, bullets of Shane's, anything special to him, the character cards of Candyland (we could not play it for months because he lost them in his wallet/hiding spot) and most recently his obsession with this silver knife. We have found it in there more than one time.

Grandpa Switch-a-roo
Grandpa traded glasses with Braily during church today. We were dying! Not sure he even noticed the pink polka dots on the side.

Crib Play Time
Instead of crying when he wakes up, I have been finding him playing in his crib after nap time. His feet are his new toy!

Momma's Boy
Kash is so crazy and bouncing off the walls, but I love that he has a sweet side to him as well. He doesn't show it to many people. He wont go to bed without his story and snuggles. He will come out of his room for one more kiss and hug almost every night. Drives me crazy....but I secretly LOVE it. I was so tired today and told him to be very quiet so the baby would sleep longer and I could nap. When I woke up I found him painting me a rock. He was so quiet getting the paint out and setting up his rock and water. He told me he didn't want to wake me up and that it was for me to keep by the side of the bed. If you know Kash, this is a huge deal!

Found Mommy
Rowdy figured out where I was in the car today. It was so cute. He just turned his head and stared at me driving. Every time I turned around to look at him he was just smiling.

Parent Child Micro Volleyball Tournament
Brian put together a mini volleyball tournament for parents and kids. It was a blast. Braily did so good for the first time playing any type of volleyball game. She was determined to play well and was one of the youngest out there. Cant say we won any games but I was pretty impressed with her!
